• Join the Research & Engineering team as a Senior Research Engineer.
• Focus on Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR).
• Design, develop, and productionize OCR and ASR systems using open-source models.
• Collaborate with applied research scientists, product engineers, and linguists.
• Work on real-world challenges in document and speech understanding.
• Prototype development for production-grade systems.
• Build ASR systems resilient to audio challenges.
• Implement pipelines for speaker identification and separation.
• Fine-tune models for domain-specific accuracy improvements.
• Work in a hybrid capacity from Berlin or Indianapolis, starting remote.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with ASR/OCR open-source toolkits.
• Deep understanding of speech signal processing.
• Experience in deploying production-grade ML systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ambiguous datasets.
