Overview

As a Senior Search Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, focused on building and optimising search solutions that power our conversational commerce platform.

• Designing, developing, and optimizing search algorithms and infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a search engineer or in a related role.
• Expertise in search technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, or Lucene.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java for backend systems development.
• Strong experience with machine learning models and natural language processing.
• Proven ability to optimize query parsing and relevance tuning.
• Experience with AI and ML models, preferably with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• English proficiency is required; conversational Japanese is a plus.
