Senior Cybersecurity / DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

AbbVie is looking for a talented Senior Cyber Security/DevOps Engineer to join our application security program.

In Short

• Focus on the design, building, and automating new components of the application security program.
• Leverage strengths in secure software development, scripting, and data analytics.
• Automate the generation of an assessment product supporting different intelligence requirements.
• Integrate with both new and existing DevSecOps tooling.
• Partner with stakeholders across the security group and major technology teams.
• Hands-on experience in modern DevOps environments.
• Experience in cybersecurity or DevSecOps is beneficial.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Position can be based anywhere in the U.S. virtually.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 7 years experience OR Master's Degree with 6 years experience OR PhD with 2 years experience in Information Security.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of software composition analysis / software bill of materials.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and automation tools (i.e. Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with container and platform technology.
• Experience building and implementing apps in a production-like environment.
• Strong interest in developing cybersecurity expertise.
