Overview

The Director of Business Operations and Strategy works directly with Strategic Operations leadership to ensure the vision and objectives of the Clinical Sciences organization are achieved, providing strategic partnership and promoting a connected and valued workplace culture.

• Reports into the Senior Director, Business Operations and Strategy.
• Responsible for monitoring and driving departmental performance.
• Provide strategic input in developing business area vision and success metrics.
• Design and execute business management routines.
• Ensure cross-functional linkage and influence between departments.
• Serves as Chief of Staff for the designated department leader.
• Accountable for understanding operational objectives and processes.
• Coordinates department business management routines.
• Maximizes opportunities to highlight best practices across departments.
• Liaison with other departments to foster partnerships and resolve issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor/master’s degree in science or Business-related Field.
• 5+ years experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and results-driven mindset.
• Strong analytical orientation and comfort with complexity.
• Excellent leadership and relationship building skills.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Basic knowledge of project management practices and finance.
