Overview

The Clinical Operations Program Director is responsible for connecting science and operations to bring clinical studies to life through the execution of one or more clinical research programs, serving as a strategic advocate for pipeline assets.

In Short

• Integral member of the Integrated Evidence Strategy Team.
• Develops clinical operational strategy and executes clinical studies/programs.
• Responsible for programmatic evaluation of risks and mitigations.
• Interacts with and influences management and cross-functional teams.
• Contributes to portfolio planning process including development of costs and timelines.
• Reviews clinical operations content for regulatory documents.
• Manages external budget across portfolio programs.
• Leads cross-functional innovation and process improvement initiatives.
• Responsible for developing and mentoring clinical operations staff.
• Ensures compliance with quality standards in executing clinical programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in nursing or scientific field.
• 12+ years of Pharma-related/clinical research experience.
• 10 years in clinical research with leadership competencies.
• Experience in risk management and strategic execution.
• Good communication skills.
• Successful coaching, mentoring, and people management experience.
• Subject matter expert in standard business procedures.
• Experience in study initiation through completion.
