Associate Medical Writer - Remote

Overview

The Associate Medical Writer supports the accurate and timely completion of encore publication submissions while building medical writing knowledge.

In Short

• Responsible for preparation and submission of Congress publications (abstracts, posters, oral presentations).
• Collects and retains all required documentation.
• Manages multiple projects with support from a manager.
• Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project completion.
• Maintains knowledge of good scientific publication practices.
• Learns required systems, software, and processes.
• Ensures compliance with conventions and guidelines for writing projects.
• May participate in special projects or initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English or Communications with science expertise, or Life Science with writing expertise.
• 0-1 years of industry experience in medical writing or related areas.
• Ability to interpret scientific content for appropriate audiences.
• Developing knowledge of US and international regulations for document preparation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Basic knowledge of software programs in a Windows environment.
