In Short

• Lead big data engineering and cloud-based analysis.
• Define scalable data strategies and build secure data pipelines.
• Operationalize machine learning models.
• Work with a modern tech stack including Databricks, Redshift, S3, and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges.
• Design and implement data pipelines for various projects.
• Maintain optimal data pipeline architecture on AWS.
• Integrate and assemble large, complex data sets.
• Monitor and optimize data performance and uptime.
• Support team with technical planning and code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Software Engineering or Data Engineering.
• Knowledge of Databricks and/or Spark.
• Experience with Python, PySpark, Kafka or Go.
• Familiarity with AWS services like S3, RDS, Redshift.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of data cleaning, wrangling, and visualization.
• Comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed team.
• Practical knowledge of Linux.
