Army Data Community Manager - Remote

Overview

The Army Data Community Manager will work with users on financial management data initiatives within the Advana and ARES community, focusing on building and managing data products.

In Short

• Serve as the main point of contact for the ARES Advana Community.
• Support the ARES community by capturing user needs.
• Work with data, development, and scrum teams to implement solutions.
• Engage with various systems and data sources across DoD and Army.
• Manage release notes and communication for a data platform.
• Provide training to end users on data functionalities.
• Experience with large data platforms and pipelines.
• 10+ years of related experience required.
• Must be a US Citizen with active DoD Secret clearance.
• Remote position within the continental US with East Coast hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Strong organization and project management skills.
• Experience creating documentation and best practices.
• Ability to manage customer relationships across domains.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with financial systems and data products.
• Experience working with government leadership.
• Ability to explain complex topics simply.
• Experience in managing data initiatives from start to finish.
