Software Engineer II - Remote

Overview

As a Software Engineer II at 27Global, you'll work with onshore and offshore teams to develop custom and highly complex applications with a goal of streamlining business processes and improving overall user experience for clients in a wide variety of industries.

In Short

• Assist in the development, testing, and debugging of software solutions under the guidance of senior engineers and architects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and team stand-ups.
• Write clean, maintainable code in object-oriented languages (e.g., .NET/C# or Java).
• Implement and maintain data solutions according to the design specifications in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Develop code in Python, Scala, or C# for Apache Spark in analytics notebooks such as DataBricks.
• Learn and apply basic cloud-native development practices (AWS/Azure).
• Contribute to unit and integration testing efforts.
• Help document code, processes, and best practices.
• Receive mentorship and actively pursue learning opportunities in data pipelines, DevOps, and scalable architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 3 - 5 years of experience writing .Net code or other OOP languages in an Agile environment.
• Understanding of n-tier, micro-service, and cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with Unit tests, integration tests, and e2e tests.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps principles.
• Experience with relational database experience (MS SQL Server/Oracle/Postgres/MySQL).
• Proven ability to decompose complex business requirements into system domain components.
• Ability to work at 27Global offices in either Leawood, KS or Denver, CO with the ability hybrid work flexibility after 90 days.
• Flexibility to occasionally travel to client sites may be required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States and the ability to prove eligibility at the time of hire.
