Senior AC Planner for New Energy Commercial and Industrial Systems - Remote

Overview

At 1KOMMA5°, we are building Europe's leading energy software platform “Heartbeat” and creating a virtual power plant that connects photovoltaic systems, energy storage, heat pumps, and charging stations, significantly increasing the profitability of interconnected customer systems.

In Short

• Work in AC planning for photovoltaic systems and respective grid connections according to applicable standards.
• Communicate with technical contacts of clients (e.g., Technical Plant Managers).
• Coordinate with relevant network operators to find optimal feed-in points for projects.
• Understand low and medium voltage connections (transformers, cable routes, technical connection conditions).
• Optimize projects on both the revenue side and construction costs.
• Manage specialized service providers regarding grid connections and plant certifications.
• Support sales during on-site visits to analyze customer connection conditions using smart communication tools (photos, video, FaceTime).

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 4 years of professional experience or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in AC planning and process design as a senior.
• Relevant experience in planning electrical systems in the commercial sector.
• Network with service providers and manufacturers in the market.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for project completions (about once a month for 1-3 days).
• Fluent in German and English.
