Overview

The Clinical Educator (CE) is a key field-based member of the US Rare Blood Disorders and Oncology Patient Services team, providing education and support to patients and healthcare providers regarding rare blood disorders and oncology.

In Short

  • Educate healthcare providers on disease states and patient support services.
  • Develop and maintain account plans for ongoing education needs.
  • Engage with patients to educate them on their conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate patient access to therapy.
  • Conduct educational programming for healthcare staff and patients.
  • Document patient engagement and educational activities.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies.
  • Travel up to 60% within the assigned territory.
  • Support adherence to prescribed therapies among patients.
  • Participate in local patient events to enhance community education.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Nursing or clinical background required.
  • 3-5 years of account management or patient education experience preferred.
  • Experience in Rare Disease and Hematology/Oncology preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to safeguard confidential information.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements.
