Overview

The Case Management Specialist will provide exceptional support services to patients receiving Tzield, ensuring a seamless journey through comprehensive care coordination.

In Short

  • Coordinate care for T1D patients and families.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients.
  • Assist with insurance approvals and treatment initiation.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on Tzield coverage.
  • Maintain knowledge of healthcare systems and reimbursement processes.
  • Document all interactions with attention to data integrity.
  • Engage with patients to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Advocate for patients' access to therapy.
  • Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
  • Provide caseload coverage as needed.

Requirements

  • Associates degree required; bachelor's preferred.
  • 3-5 years of patient-facing experience required.
  • In-depth understanding of health insurance benefits.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a complex matrix environment.
  • Strong people skills and flexibility.
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues independently.
  • Willingness to travel within the US, up to 10%.
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred.
  • Direct experience in case management or healthcare systems preferred.
