Zwift is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work in a full-stack team to deliver features that improve the racing, competition, and training experience in our cross-platform MMORPG game.

In Short

Work on a cross-functional team to deliver exciting game features.
Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code.
Tackle complex tasks by evaluating tradeoffs.
Mentor other engineers through code reviews and discussions.
Identify technical risks and help build mitigation plans.
Work with engineers and product managers to scope and plan projects.
Participate in the interview process.

Requirements

BS/MS in Computer Science or relevant technical area.
5+ years of software development experience.
Comfortable mentoring engineers and leading discussions.
Strong experience in cloud-based microservices, event sourcing, gameplay, multiplayer gameplay, and/or mobile development.
Thought leader with software engineering best practices.
Able to solve ambiguous technical problems.
Experience with production troubleshooting.
Tenacity to get things done and enthusiasm for learning.
