Staff Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Network Engineer, you will be part of a remote team responsible for deploying, operating, monitoring, and supporting the Zscaler worldwide production network inside multiple data centers.

• 5-8 years of experience with high-speed fiber Ethernet networks required.
• Expertise in BGP routing operation and troubleshooting.

• Experience troubleshooting L2 and L3 Ethernet networks.
• Understanding of TCP/IP stack performance parameters.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux/FreeBSD and network equipment.
• CCIE or JNCIP certifications preferred.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience with high-speed fiber Ethernet networks.
• Expert level hands-on experience in BGP routing operation, design, and troubleshooting.
• Deep knowledge of DNS, HTTPS, GRE, and IPsec protocols.
• Real life experience troubleshooting L2 and L3 Ethernet networks.
• In-depth understanding of networking concepts and TCP/IP stack.
