Overview

As a Principal Software Development Engineer at Zscaler, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tools for automation and enhancing developer productivity within the Cloud Browser Isolation team.

In Short

Design and implement tools for deployment automation.
Increase developer productivity through automation.
Collaborate with QA and Engineering teams for infrastructure solutions.
Participate in product development phases and capacity planning.
Engage in post-mortem operations discussions to improve automation.
10+ years of software engineering experience required.
Proficiency in GoLang, Java, or Rust and intermediate Python/Bash.
Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Knowledge of Linux and CI & Build tools.
Experience with configuration management tools is a plus.

Requirements

10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in a lead role.
Experience with GoLang, Java, Rust, Python, and Bash.
Expertise in service-oriented architectures.
Intermediate to advanced experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Intermediate to advanced experience with Linux OS and CI tools.
