Lead Architect - Remote

Overview

The Lead Architect will lead RFx efforts for all professional and managed services offerings at Zones, crafting high-quality, competitive solutions that align with customer business outcomes.

In Short

• Overall accountability for technical solution in an RFx response.
• Translate customer requirements to technical components.
• Drive collective focus with multiple teams on larger multi-offering deals.
• Craft feasible and competitive solutions.
• Understand competition and adjust strategy accordingly.
• Work with globally distributed teams.
• Perform effort estimation and cost analysis.
• Contribute to technical response content.
• Participate in SOW development and negotiations.
• Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in infrastructure services solutioning.
• Broad understanding of the industry and market.
• Ability to think and work at both strategic and tactical levels.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with C-level executives.
• Very proficient in MS tools – Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Ability to work and lead in a team environment.
• Ability to travel ~15% of the time.
