Junior Infrastructure Analyst (Remote)

Overview

We are looking for an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) to help us build, maintain, and develop our Products. If you are passionate about Technology, reliability, and Infrastructure as Code, this position is for you.

In Short

• Develop projects in collaboration with all technology teams.
• Build relationships with your peers.
• Design and implement improvements to increase availability, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Create automated routines for infrastructure provisioning using automation tools.
• Resolve incidents and create postmortem documents.
• Work on the reliability and performance aspects of databases within the SRE squads of our products.
• Analyze solutions and implement best practices for our backing services clusters (Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis).
• Work on observability of relevant metrics and ensure we meet our objectives.
• Collaborate with peers in SREs on implementations and/or changes in our production environments to help mitigate incidents.
• Automate infrastructure to facilitate and expedite the provisioning of new infrastructure components.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Cloud Providers (AWS).
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Gitlab).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with Linux operating systems (Redhat, Debian & Ubuntu).
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic & Zabbix).
• Experience with shell scripting and programming languages (Bash, Shell, Python, Ruby & GO).
• Creativity, willingness to learn new technologies, and good communication skills.
