SEO Manager (18-Month Contract) - German Speaking (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced interim SEO Manager to continue and develop our organic growth strategy during the maternity leave of our Senior SEO Manager. You will take over an established SEO setup with the potential to elevate it to the next level.

In Short

• Lead SEO activities independently during the interim period.
• Conduct keyword research and competitive benchmarks to identify growth potentials.
• Optimize website and app-store listings for better visibility.
• Perform technical SEO audits and optimize site architecture.
• Plan and execute link-building campaigns.
• Monitor and analyze relevant KPIs using tools like GA4 and SEMrush.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to align SEO strategies.
• Contribute to scalable content strategies in coordination with stakeholders.
• Stay updated on search behavior trends and new technologies.
• Work in a collaborative environment with agile or Scrum-based teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an SEO Manager or similar role.
• Passion for user intent and conversion optimization.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics and SEO tools.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluent in German (C2) and English (B2).
• Experience in App Store Optimization is a plus.
• Experience working in agile teams is desirable.
