Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (Material Buyer) to support material procurement and ensure seamless communication between vendors, internal teams, and operational stakeholders.

In Short

  • Act as the primary point of contact for material-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Create and route purchase requisitions in the ERP system for approval.
  • Issue purchase orders and transmit them to vendors accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Confirm material delivery dates and update the ERP system accordingly.
  • Proactively follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and address potential delays.
  • Coordinate logistics and arrange pickups as required.
  • Communicate delivery updates, delays, and resolutions clearly to internal teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain material availability and prevent supply disruptions.
  • Provide timely issue resolution while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional procurement and supply chain support tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service, procurement, supply chain, or related field.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage vendor and internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with proactive follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
