Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at Zeitview, you will design and build core features of our Insights platform, developing backend services and collaborating with product and AI teams to deliver an AI-first platform.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring.
• Build scalable, reliable, and secure systems on AWS.
• Optimize and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
• Utilize AI coding assistants for development.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in technical design and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring.
• Deep experience with AWS.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
• Experience building and scaling RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of event-driven architecture.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Daily practitioner of AI-first development.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
