CPQ Technical Architect - Remote

Overview

As a Technical Architect, you will own the integrity and strength of the solutions recommended and delivered. You’ll be acting as a trusted advisor to our team and clients, and an effective mentor for other Zaelab professionals working alongside you. You’ll be a go-to expert with deep platform expertise, as well as excellent consulting skills to communicate your ideas and solutions to clients; gaining buy-in to get your visions built into successful solutions.

In Short

• Conduct research into clients’ use of existing CPQ solutions, such as Salesforce CPQ.
• Define and maintain system architecture, including data model and integrations architecture.
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to create prototypes and proofs of concept.
• Review solutions and recommend improvements.
• Groom and refine the product backlog in liaison with stakeholders.
• Own the design of affiliated solutions for Sales, Service, and platform solutions.
• Act as a release manager, approving configuration and coded items.
• Provide guidance on user story writing style.
• Ensure success and acceptance criteria are defined for each story.
• Define proposed solution architecture concept during pre-sales project planning.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in CPQ solutions, particularly Salesforce CPQ.
• Strong consulting and communication skills.
• Experience in system architecture and data modeling.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
• Experience in quality assurance and deployment processes.
• Proficiency in user story writing and backlog management.
• Experience in project planning and management.
