Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Security Engineer at Zum, you will play a key role in strengthening our security posture and implementing compliance frameworks as we scale.

In Short

• Design and implement vulnerability management workflows.
• Develop automations for security workflows and threat detection.
• Help build SOC2 compliance frameworks.
• Draft and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Support incident response efforts.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with IT on access and DLP controls.
• Evaluate new tools to improve security operations.
• Build out AI initiatives for security needs.
• Work cross-functionally with IT, Engineering, and Compliance teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering.
• Experience with SOC2 and SOX environments.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management tools.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting.
• Familiarity with compliance standards like SOC 2 and NIST.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with cloud environments like AWS.
• Experience with SIEM and EDR solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to respond quickly to security incidents.
