Overview

The Compliance & Risk Manager at Yampa Valley Bank will play a vital role in ensuring that the bank's operations comply with federal and state banking laws and regulations, while also managing risk effectively.

In Short

• Perform compliance audits and monitoring.
• Research and ensure adherence to banking laws.
• Manage internal audits and compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with departments on compliance inquiries.
• Report on audit findings to management and committees.
• Work with Information Security Officer on policies.
• Document security incidents to protect assets.
• Provide training on compliance responsibilities.
• Participate in risk assessment processes.
• Build relationships to understand business risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in banking regulatory compliance.
• Current or ability to obtain CRCM/CRCP certification.
