CDL Operator - Remote

Overview

The CDL Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining safety and compliance with regulations. This position involves driving, loading, unloading, and maintaining the vehicle, as well as providing excellent customer service.

In Short

• Drive to designated locations for product delivery.
• Load and unload supplies and equipment as per customer orders.
• Inspect truck equipment and perform general maintenance.
• Maintain accurate driving records and follow DOT regulations.
• Communicate with Warehouse Manager regarding delivery instructions.
• Assist with inventory management at customer sites.
• Provide customer service and support warehouse operations.
• Work in various environments including warehouses and customer sites.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Adhere to safety and health standards in the workplace.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A with Hazmat endorsement.
• Six months to a year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Basic math skills and good hand/eye coordination required.
• Strong customer service skills and sense of urgency.
• Computer knowledge is helpful.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Effective teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
