Proposal Writer - Remote

Overview

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Proposal Writer to join our Business Development. The Proposal Writer will report to the Vice President of Proposal Operations and Marketing and will be responsible for supporting Requests for Proposal (RFPs), IDIQ Task Orders, unsolicited White Papers, Requests for Information (RFIs), and strategic opportunities to support the growth of the company. In Short

• Support Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and other strategic opportunities.
• Research, organize, and write proposal content.
• Lead and coordinate the development of RFIs and white papers.
• Provide editing and desktop publishing for outgoing proposal deliverables.
• Work in a fast-paced, adaptable environment.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders for proposal input.
• Develop technically clear and compelling proposal content.
• Utilize MS Office and Adobe Professional for proposal tasks.
• Support marketing initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in technical writing and proposal development.
• Experience drafting content for RFIs and proposals.
• Ability to interview SMEs and develop proposal content.
• Experience in editing, formatting, and desktop publishing.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office suite and Adobe Professional.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with graphic design collaboration for proposals.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Business, IT, or related field.
• No additional years of experience can substitute for degree.
