Senior Structural Design Engineer - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for design delivery of bridges and other transportation structures on multiple high-profile projects and playing your part in the development of the City's infrastructure for the 21st Century.

In Short

• Leading Technical Delivery of Bridges and Underpasses.
• Conducting Technical Reviews of the team's work.
• Delivering high-quality and technically sound structure designs.
• Identifying opportunities for Innovative solutions and Value Engineering.
• Liaison with Project Managers and other Discipline Leads.
• Meeting with Clients and Approving Authorities.
• Providing clear direction to the design team.
• Reporting to the Design Manager / Team Leader.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years' relevant post-graduate work experience required.

Requirements

• Strong Communication skills, written and oral, in English.
• Dedication to technical excellence and innovation.
• Professional qualification/certification (PE, CEng or equivalent) desired.
• Experience in design delivery of a variety of bridge types.
• Experience working in ISO 19650 BIM-compliant environment.
