Senior Business Analyst - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr Business Analyst/Systems Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will support the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Project Delivery team with a heavy focus on the Deltek Costpoint Application.

In Short

• Engage in various business and technical tasks spanning all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Identify and evaluate end user requirements by collaborating with business stakeholders.
• Develop general and functional specifications for application development solutions.
• Conduct research and prepare detailed technical specifications and test plans.
• Lead analysis and evaluation of application functionality.
• Develop new reports and perform custom/ad-hoc reporting.
• Provide advice to end users and assist in resolving operational issues.
• Participate in user training.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Present complex information to leaders at various levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint.
• Ability to gather and handle complex datasets.
• Self-starter with willingness to learn.
• Ability to work within time constraints and changing priorities.
• Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Accounting, Finance, and Project Controls background preferred.
