Overview

Parsons is seeking a Resident Construction Engineer - Mechanical to manage construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and contractual obligations.

In Short

• Monitor construction contracts and mechanical field activities.
• Ensure adherence to contract requirements, including safety regulations.
• Provide technical guidance to contractors on schedules and procedures.
• Review and approve technical material submissions and shop drawings.
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Compile reports on project progress, cost, and quality control.
• Assist in resolving conflicts and coordinating with project management staff.
• Evaluate claims and assist in administrative functions.
• Develop strong relationships with contractors and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with QAQC programs and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of construction management experience.
• Strong site inspection skills.
• Knowledge of international building codes and standards.
• Experience with residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the Middle East.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to obtain a Saudi Driving License.
