Construction Engineer - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will work on Sacramento International Airport’s “SMForward” $1.3B capital improvement program.

In Short

• Facilitate capital construction projects from approval to completion.
• Assist/support project sponsors with project setup including developing project scope and budget estimates.
• Assemble and lead project teams of in-house staff and/or consultants.
• Coordinate project activities with multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure safety provisions are included in project plans.
• Manage, track, and report project controls.
• Prepare Service Agreements and amendments.
• Monitor and evaluate projects through regular interaction with the project team.
• Participate in project planning meetings.
• Develop, negotiate, and manage consultant contracts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of project management or construction/engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Working knowledge of project management principles.
• Experience working with contractors.
• Fundamental knowledge of engineering and architectural design principles.
• Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
• Well-developed communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to lead project teams effectively.
