Pre-Construction Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Pre-Construction Engineer will perform development stage engineering and project management, optimize our systems, develop standards, and mentor staff within the distributed generation and utility-scale markets.

• Design projects according to Convergent Design Standards.
• Manage several complex projects across verticals.
• Anticipate challenges with complex projects.
• Work with project teams in evaluating potential sites.
• Collaborate with external vendors for outsourced deliverables.
• Assist in the improvement of design engineering tools.
• Support Pre-Construction and adjacent department team members.

• Lead design engineering improvement initiatives.
• Be a mentor to less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Experience in project management and design engineering.
• Knowledge of energy storage and renewable resources.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects.
• Proficiency in feasibility analysis and risk management.
• Experience with lean management concepts.
• Technical knowledge in engineering tools and software.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage teams effectively.
• Authorization to work in the United States or Canada.
