BIM/CAD Technician (Wet & Dry Utilities) - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM/CAD Technician to join our team in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will perform basic to moderately-difficult design/drafting assignments in the field of Wet and Dry utilities.

In Short

• Work closely with BIM Lead and Design Leads.
• Utilize CAD workstation to develop engineering drawings.
• Understand BIM modeling process and manage BIM activities.
• Review drawings for readability and adherence to standards.
• Create parametric and non-parametric families.
• Knowledge of DEWA, DM, RTA standards.
• Produce scheduling and quantity extraction from models.
• Must have at least 5+ years of CAD drafting experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Software experience in AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D and MicroStation required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of MEA/UAE CAD drafting experience.
• Strong knowledge in BIM and LOD requirements.
• Software experience in Navisworks is advantageous.
• Experience with Common Data Environment: ProjectWise, ACC.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
