Automation and Assay Research Scientist - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Automation and Assay Research Scientist to join our team! In this role, you will support our government customer by developing and executing high-throughput in vitro screening projects.

In Short

• Assist in the development and evaluation of high-throughput screening projects.
• Support antibacterial, anti-viral, and anti-toxin therapeutic areas.
• Proficient in using automated liquid handling systems.
• Perform compound treatment to evaluate therapeutic small molecules.
• Write workflows for automation instruments.
• Assist in data analysis using Spotfire and Genedata.
• Prepare technical reports and standard operating procedures.
• Present research findings at scientific conferences.
• Maintain robotic instruments and laboratory supplies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidance.

Requirements

• MS with 6 years’ experience or PhD with at least 3 years' experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Access.
• Knowledge of FDA Animal Rule and Bioanalytical Method Validation Guidance.
• Experience drafting/editing laboratory Standard Operating Procedures.
• Deep analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Experience in GLP environment and Investigational New Drug studies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. Citizen with background check clearance.
• Willingness to work in a BSL 3/4 laboratory.
• Eligibility for BPRP and CS-PRP programs.
