Overview

The Senior Corporate Financial Analyst at World Relief plays a critical role in the organization’s accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance across domestic and international operations.

In Short

• Lead monthly and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare internal financial reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Support audits and implement financial SOPs.
• Track restricted revenue and expenditures.
• Coordinate accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Train departments on financial policies and reporting tools.
• Recommend improvements to accounting workflows.
• Maintain proficiency in ERP systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and fund accounting.
• Experience with month-end close and audit support.
• Proven ability to develop financial reports using Power BI.
• Ability to create accounting journals in accordance with US GAAP.
