Part-Time Finance Specialist - Remote

Overview

World Relief seeks a Finance Specialist to accurately and responsibly handle all financial transactions in order to ensure financial stability of WR Quad Cities office and assist the resettlement team with client finances.

In Short

• Part-time, limited-term position funded through a grant agreement until May 31, 2026.
• Responsible for processing financial contributions and maintaining financial documentation.
• Remote deposit checks and review check requests.
• Cut checks for operations, including refugee assistance and staff reimbursement.
• Maintain W-9 records for vendors and assist with issuing 1099s.
• Assist with corporate credit card transactions and reconciliation.
• Produce financial expenditure reports for refugee cases.
• Support the resettlement team in managing client finances.
• Troubleshoot IT network and security issues.
• Other related duties as assigned by Finance manager.

Requirements

• Mature and personal Christian faith.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with vendor invoices and computerized accounts payable systems.
• Fluent in Microsoft 365 software including Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and organize in a fast-paced environment.
