Overview

World Insurance is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Underwriting & Financial Analyst to join our Underwriting & Analytics team. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in underwriting and analytics while helping employers make smarter benefits decisions.

In Short

  • Analyze financial and contractual information for clients.
  • Prepare financial deliverables and model renewals.
  • Evaluate utilization trends and support client decision-making.
  • Manage and prioritize analytical workflow for accurate deliverables.
  • Conduct standard client analyses including market reviews and renewal projections.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts for holistic client solutions.
  • Develop alternative plan strategies and cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with carrier partners.
  • Draft client-facing executive summaries and formal correspondence.
  • Participate in the peer review process to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of experience in employee benefits or insurance.
  • College degree or CEBS designation preferred.
  • Life & Health insurance license or willingness to obtain.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and client-focused.
  • Commitment to staying current on industry trends and regulations.
