Director of Producer Commissions and Incentive Payables - Remote

In Short

• Lead the producer and administrative incentive commission/compensation process
• Review quarterly draw reconciliations and periodic Earnout calculations
• Leverage technology for continued automation within department processes
• Train and guide a team of 5 seasoned commission analysts
• Oversee inquiries from all commission recipients including investigation into “missing” commissions, revised rates, shared business, etc.
• Oversee sub-ledger to general ledger account/dimension reconciliations
• Partner closely with producers, agency unit leaders, divisional leaders and others within the organization
• Review Asset Purchase Agreements to determine optimal producer profile requirements
• Review producer & broker commission reports to ensure the accuracy of rates and compliance with commission agreements
• Prepare ad hoc management requests

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Required Minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting, insurance industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Thorough understanding of the insurance brokerage industry
• Excellent supervisory and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to motivate staff
• Required Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Applied EPIC, BenefitPoint, & Oracle NetSuite a plus.
