Overview

WorkWave is seeking an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to play a strategic role in aligning business objectives with employees and management within designated business units. This position partners across HR functions to provide value-added services that support business goals. The HRBP is expected to have a deep understanding of the business unit's financial status, culture, long-term plans, and competitive landscape.

In Short

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between management and the Employee Relations team.
  • Work with the Talent team to address staffing needs.
  • Partner with the Professional Development team for succession planning.
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives.
  • Proactively assess HR-related needs and develop solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies.
  • Use HR metrics and analytics for decision-making.
  • Promote employee engagement and a positive culture.
  • Collaborate on salary benchmarking and job evaluations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • At least 7 years in HR, with 4 years in a strategic HR role.
  • Deep understanding of HR processes and labor laws.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proven consulting skills for management and employees.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems; Dayforce experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret HR data.
  • Experience with organizational development and change management.
  • Strategic thinker with solid business acumen.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
