Clinical Counsellor - Remote

Overview

Workplace Options is seeking a qualified Clinical Counsellor to join our clinical team in Sydney, Australia. Our Clinical Counsellors engage with participants over the phone, video, chat & email all while demonstrating what we call: The Power of a Good Conversation – creating a connection with the client to ensure they feel heard, supported, and cared for.

In Short

• Provide telephonic counselling and crisis management.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in service delivery.
• Refer clients to external resources as needed.
• Maintain clear clinical documentation.
• Provide short-term clinical interventions.
• Work with clients facing various mental health challenges.
• Develop treatment plans for clients.
• Assess clients for appropriate counselling.
• Be culturally sensitive and flexible in communication.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Counselling.
• Minimum 2 years of direct client-contact experience.
• Experience with clinical assessment tools.
• Training in mindfulness or solution-focused counseling is a plus.
• Must be registered with ACA/PACFA.
