Staff Developer - ShareGate - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a staff developer to lead the technical delivery of ShareGate's most ambitious feature: identity migration. You will take charge of this initiative, designing the architecture, defining engineering standards, and training the team that will execute it.

In Short

• Lead the design and development of identity migration feature in ShareGate.
• Help grow the migration team by participating in recruitment and onboarding of new developers.
• Build robust integrations with enterprise identity systems like Active Directory.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define workflows for seamless user experience.
• Define and improve engineering best practices for large-scale migration features.
• Engage with clients to understand their migration challenges and validate technical choices.
• Oversee the entire user migration feature from MVP delivery to long-term stability.
• Be a visible technical leader, advocating for long-term design choices.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of identity systems like Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Proficient in .NET ecosystem with experience in enterprise software contributions.
• Proven ability to design scalable and maintainable systems from scratch.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale projects from design to delivery.
• Strong mentoring and coaching background for high-performing engineering teams.
• Good interdisciplinary collaboration skills, especially with Product and Design teams.
• Experience in developing products in startup phases or new verticals on existing products.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in hybrid or desktop environments.
