Behavioral Health Care Specialist (Peer Recovery Coach) - Remote

Overview

As a Behavior Health Care Specialist (BHCS) at Workit Health, you will be responsible for providing group-based intervention and case management to members with Substance Use Disorders (SUD). The primary focus is on group-based treatment, including co-facilitation of shared medical appointments. BHCS are full-time employees that work primarily remote and can provide all services via telehealth platforms.

• Full-time position with four 10-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Peer Recovery Coach Certification (Required).
• Experience facilitating support groups.
• At least 1 year of peer recovery experience.
• Preferred experience in customer service settings.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records and HIPAA regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrate empathy and respect for clients.
• Case management experience is a plus.
• Must disclose any private practice involvement.
