Senior Erlang Engineer - Remote

We are looking for a Senior Erlang Engineer with solid experience in distributed, highly concurrent, and fault-tolerant backend systems. This is an opportunity to join a high-level technical team focused on developing robust, scalable, and efficient services.

In Short

• Design and develop robust, scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems using Erlang/OTP.
• Apply architectural principles to ensure efficiency, concurrency, and resilience.
• Design and implement messaging and event mechanisms with Redis, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
• Optimize process management in Erlang, ensuring efficient resource usage.
• Implement architectures based on actor model, message passing, and event-driven.
• Integrate protocols like WebSockets, TCP, UDP, gRPC, or SCTP.
• Maintain and improve environments with Docker and Linux.
• Participate in distributed architectures with Kubernetes (desirable).
• Conduct load testing and performance diagnostics.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to improve deployments and availability.
• Document architectures and technical decisions.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience developing with Erlang/OTP.
• Experience in high-concurrency and low-latency backend systems.
• Strong knowledge in distributed software architecture.
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Integration of protocols like TCP, UDP, SCTP, WebSockets, and gRPC.
• Experience in containers (Docker) and Linux environment administration.
• Knowledge in monitoring and optimizing distributed systems.
• Ability to solve complex problems in concurrent environments.
