Overview

As a Business Development Representative at Woodruff Sawyer, you’ll be a key player in growing our business. You will help shape the newest part of our marketing and sales growth engine while gaining a deep understanding of the industry.

In Short

  • Drive growth and revenue through the research and development of leads on target lists.
  • Conduct discovery calls and qualify leads prior to connecting them with production teams.
  • Send invitations and encourage prospective clients to attend WS events.
  • Develop and execute outreach campaigns aligned with the needs of the business.
  • Maintain accurate client records in Salesforce, tracking key activity metrics.
  • Foster relationships with prospective clients with strategic communications.
  • Partner with marketing, Practice and Growth Leadership to manage outbound campaigns to increase lead volume.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in lead generation, account management, or a customer-facing role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with the Salesforce ecosystem is a plus.
  • Experience in insurance or a similar service-based industry, B2B environment, and/or selling or marketing to the C-suite is preferred.
  • Broker’s license required to be obtained during onboarding period (within 90 days of start date).
