Account Engineer, Property - Remote

Overview

As an Account Engineer, Property at Woodruff Sawyer, you'll have the chance to advocate for clients and build relationships with carrier engineers. Your expertise will help clients identify and reduce risks, enabling them to focus on their future confidently.

• Be a strong advocate for the client to aid them in identifying, prioritizing, and reducing risks

• Advise clients on fire, natural hazard, and machinery breakdown exposures
• Negotiate with carrier engineers on risk improvement plans
• Perform physical site surveys and collect necessary information
• Estimate and determine adequacy of reported values
• Advise account service teams on natural hazard exposures

Requirements

• At least 2 years of property insurance risk engineering experience
• Understanding of FM Global, NFPA, or other HPR standards
• Ability to travel to California and Oregon about 15-30% of the time
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
