The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides respiratory care to patients of all ages, ensuring the highest degree of quality care and safety in accordance with established standards and regulations.

• Provide respiratory therapy in emergency and outpatient settings.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and oxygen therapy.
• Initiate and monitor mechanical ventilation and airway management.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and electrocardiograms.

Requirements

• Degree from an A.M.A and BBRC approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Registered from the National Board for Respiratory Care, Inc.
• Currently licensed in Massachusetts.
• Three years of practical experience in a hospital or related medical facility.
• Training in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation therapy practice.
