Overview

The Performance Monitoring and Observability Engineer is responsible for maintaining enterprise application and platform performance monitoring systems, collaborating with technical and business teams to enhance monitoring capabilities.

In Short

  • Maintain and support performance monitoring platforms and tools.
  • Develop custom extensions for monitoring enterprise platforms.
  • Work with platform owners to establish visibility objectives.
  • Instrument monitoring tools to meet business needs.
  • Review performance monitoring efficacy and identify improvements.
  • Stay updated on performance monitoring strategies and technologies.
  • Adhere to standard change management protocols.
  • Provide customer service and support for performance issues.
  • Participate in budget planning exercises.
  • Engage in a hybrid working model with onsite requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 10+ years of related experience in healthcare or a related field.
  • 10+ years of prior experience in performance monitoring.
  • Extensive experience with Dynatrace and performance monitoring tools.
  • Fluency in Python and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API integration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and with vendors.
  • Commitment to high-quality customer service.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
