Overview

The Nurse Practitioner is an integral member of the Walgreens Program, dedicated to increasing access to quality healthcare for historically marginalized communities in the Greater Boston area.

In Short

• Work as part of a mobile health service team.
• Provide cardiometabolic screening and mental health evaluations.
• Collaborate with Walgreens Pharmacist for prescription management.
• Supervise and train clinical staff and volunteers.
• Develop and implement operational protocols.
• Participate in mobile team meetings and raise issues.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Temporary position with no benefits.
• Requires current Massachusetts NP licensure.
• Must have a Master's Degree in Nursing.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Current Massachusetts Licensure as an NP.
• One year of clinical experience required.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Experience in community health is a plus.
• Ability to handle complex patient care issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
