Medical Assistant, Physiatry - Remote

Overview

The Medical Assistant will support healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services in a physiatry practice, ensuring high-quality patient care.

• 40-hour work week with a potential shift to 4, 9-hour days and 1, 4-hour day.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• 1-2 years direct Medical Assistant experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in busy environments.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
• Ability to take vital signs and perform phlebotomy.
• Compliance with privacy and confidentiality rules.
• National MA Certification strongly preferred.
• Epic experience is a plus.
