Overview

The Major and Planned Giving Officer (MPGO) will play a vital role in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major and planned gift donors for the Spaulding Rehabilitation network.

• Identify and cultivate major gift donors.
• Develop strategies for major and planned gifts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of major gifts and/or planned giving experience.
• Proficiency in planned giving concepts and strategies.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Experience with fundraising databases.
• Ability to develop relationships with high-value prospects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules.
• Ability to explain complex medical conditions.
• Professionalism and resourcefulness.
