Overview

The Clinic/Practice Assistant will serve as the face of the medical group, managing the patient experience through reception and administrative support in a multispecialty setting.

In Short

  • Full-time position with a 40-hour workweek.
  • Support various medical specialties including Women’s Health, Diabetes Center, and more.
  • Responsibilities include check-in/check-out and managing phones.
  • Work schedule consists of 4,10-hour days from Monday to Friday.
  • Requires high school diploma and minimum of six months of customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
  • Familiarity with insurance payers is a plus.
  • Position is onsite at 22 Atwood Drive, Northampton, MA.
  • Part of a team dedicated to patient care and community service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months reception or customer service experience.
  • Preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Must be able to manage confidential information.
