Overview

The Senior Clinic Practice Assistant performs both administrative and clinical functions to support smooth and efficient clinical service operations at the MGH Cancer Center located at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

• Perform routine administrative and clerical duties related to clinical services.

• Act as a 'Super User' for scheduling and billing systems.
• Provide functional guidance to Office and Practice Assistants.
• Oversee daily activities of practice staff.
• Handle patient inquiries and manage co-payments.
• Assist with prior authorizations and prescription refills.
• Strong technology and MS Office skills required.
• Must have 3-5 years of office experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
